A very scarce limited edition copy of this poem, limited to five-hundred copies, of which this is numbered one-hundred and forty-six.Signed by Vita to the leaf leaf of text.In the original glassine wrap.Vita Sackville-West's charming poetical ode to Sissinghurst, her beloved home.Vita's family acquired and moved to the Castle in 1930, beginning a long and laborious love that Vita held for the Castle and it's extensive garden. Vita and her husband worked hard to make the garden beautiful, eventually with it becoming on the most famous gardens in England.?This poem was written to Virginia Woolf, Vita's renowned lover.Written by the noted Bloomsbury author Vita Sackville-West, well known today for her friendship and relationship with fellow author, Virginia Woolf. Sackville-West provided the inspiration for Woolf's beloved novel 'Orlando'. In the original publisher's limp cloth binding, in the original glassine wrap.
